PERSONALITY,
Proud, hypocritical, secretly vain, ardent, cowardly, charismatic, narcissistic, parasitic, fake
Vivalto is what one could call a collector, a gatherer. His main obsession is meeting and conquering the maximum amount of people: know them off as best he can, bundle together their personality traits, their vices and their little virtues, charm and seduce, and once they're set to be thoroughly rooted in his life, that is when he savors the moment of "release", like a butterfly catcher who exiles the objects of his former interest. One could call him a womanizer, yet he expresses quite the same degree of interest in any cat, regardless of gender. A peopleizer, if you will.
In truth, Vivalto is surely not a sociopath totally unaware of the insanity of his actions. He knows perfectly well he's quite out of the ordinary in his behavior, knows pertinently no other cat views others like specimens to charm and seduce until they become yours. In fact, he holds his actions in the highest esteem, thinking himself not quite a mad genius, but entertaining the thought nevertheless. He doesn't love in the conventional sense of the term - he's far too selfish for that - yet he's quite sure that if an individual like himself were to be encountered it would be the perfect soulmate.
Despite his ardent nature and the friendly way in which he acts, Vivalto is, in truth, quite a coward. He knows it, and views it with an almost amused indifference, scorning those stupid enough to call their stupidity "bravery". In that sense, it could be argued that Vivalto is cunning, but he's truly not a cruel soul - in any case, it's not his ultimate goal. If viciousness is the easier means of getting something - or, more likely, someone - he wants, then that's the path Vivalto will take. Lying, cheating, hurting... not the intent, simply the means. Besides, who doesn't enjoy a bit of petty bullying here and there, once you've gotten your heart's desire and it is no longer of any use to you?
Constantly in action, constantly in seek of something to do or say, Vivalto is a hedonist at heart, and certainly puts his own pleasure and satisfaction before that of other's. Strong willed when he's made up his mind, Vivalto couldn't possibly be satisfied with a task badly done, which leads him to work in solitary ways, despite the myriad of "friends" he keeps for short periods of time.
Regardless of his passion for people, Vivalto doesn't really know a thing about feline behavior or psychology. He doesn't read faces, decode emotions, decrypt lies. What he does know is how to get into their hearts, under their skin, leech out all the good stuff and then leave them as shells.
But he's not a bad guy, really! I'd tell you he's nice once you get to know him, but, in all honesty, it's probably the opposite more than anything else.
FIRST IMPRESSION, a friendly, interesting young man with clever intellect and a likeable, charismatic personality. When you start liking him and opening up, he'll ditch you like a dirty sock c:
HISTORY,
There is nothing in his history that can explain the strange person he is: it is inscribed in his personality, it would appear. The fact that he was an only child couldn't help but make him spoiled, however.
RELATIONSHIPS,
- Veracity Yellowstone, mother
- Vendungo il Vichor, father
