CHILDREN! as the title says. THEY ARE IMPORTANT AND AWESOME PLOT TOOLS
so im wondering, whats your plan for reproduction on this site? I usually rp horses and they have many different characteristics that depend on the parents so we have a code for the admins to roll dice and create a child from the two parents keeping it as realistic as possible.
this is prolly not the case for big cats, but im sure you could do something to figure out male/female and sizes and such.... idk whadyu guys have planned?

For big cats, with only a limited variety of colors-- leopard print for leopards; tan, sandy or russet for caracals; etc-- it's not quite as complicated, so I was just going to use an online randomizer (such as THIS BABY RIGHT HERE-- you gotta love Mrs Glosser's math goodies c;), assigning numbers to each of the markings/genders/sizes or to their chance of survival. I appreciate, however, that that's quite... primitive. Are there any codes in particular you recommend? c: ps. +5 rosettes for youuu! <3

Oh that little dealio looks great! I just like the whole realism factor on animal sites. An example of the horse dice roles for breeding on a site im staff on can be found here. Obviously it'd be completely different for cats, but I feel like you could still do some sort of chance things for gender/possibly shades (considering mother and father were different you could role for "Like mother" or "like father") Also we role for different mutations (this site would have realistic mutations) and some genetic and birth defects such as blindness or mental disorders. Its completely up to the staff here and im still gonna be a member no matter what, i just didn't see any "birth info thread/place to post" here at all so I thought I'd ask. Also when you look at the link i gave you you can't quite see all that goes into the actual role, so here are the statistical sides of the dice. As you can see a male/female role is split in half so if the number is 1-50 the baby is a female and if the number is 51-100 its male, where as in order to role for blindness you must role an Alive but Sick, Physical deformity, and Blindness. So don't worry, we won't have a bunch of disabled babies running about. This example is for horses though, so you guys would have to look up the stats for big cats. And I suppose to make it easier you can just have one set of statistics for all the cats. Not sure if that was all clear or not so ask questions if you have any! :) EDIT: Bahaha so I just found the hospital. I feel dumb. Your method seems great too! maybe you'd want to Incorporate some things but ha. i feel dumb. xD

Silly Nala! XD Yeah, we do have that. I just took a look at that code which makes a lot more sense, given the likelihood of blindness and other mutations and that shit. However, to be quite honest, it looks a lot more... complicated than what we need? XD That's really sweet of you, though. We might use it, or a variation on it. I'll have to think about it.
It wasn't dumb! >8U
