SPECIES, leopard

APPEARANCE, *image*Amatya’s frame begins with the firm muscle proudly displayed about her body, a thick physique that bodes 70cm at her broad shoulders. The bold coloring of her coat is a deep fawn mixed greatly with a golden hue that stretches across her back. Littering the golden canvas are black rosettes each more distinguished than the last, but all moving in circling with one another along her coat. In the trees she blends with perfection, enabling her to hide her muscular frame in the shadows. Her tail is adorned with clusters of rosettes, hiding the golden fawn that is the main color of her coat. Her eyes, two luminescent bulbs into her soul are a callous yellow mixing ever so gently with hues of gray, a color that can only be compared to the lonely moon.
Her nose is the shade of pale rose an abrupt change to the rest of the colors along her body. Whiskers poke along her muzzle, long and white, a defining feature to a face full of soot black spots. Below her chin and dancing around the sable splotches along her underbelly is a light cream tone. Around the abdomen her coat begins to mix the colors of golden fawn and creamy beige, it’s difficult to tell where from color begins and the other ends, but the delicate beauty of this brawny female is conveyed through every aspect of her movements and speech. Her gait is normally slow and considering, when she is even on the ground at all. Her ears, rounded at the tips are the only part of her that is darker than the spots that cover her body, the thick brown that resides there is seen little else, except perhaps on her paw pads.
PERSONALITY,
Amatya is keen on the live and let live scenario and although she is observant and curious, tries not to stick her nose someplace where it doesn’t belong. She isn’t very friendly as she enjoys her solitude but will engage in conversation if it comes by at an acceptable time. She believes that strength is a key to survival, and normally won’t be caught fondling her emotions. She is a closed book, Amatya is, and she likes it that way. Her decisions are her own, and she doesn’t have to explain them to anyone but herself. It’s a nice set up that gets lonely from time to time, but for now Amatya enjoys her solitude, sticking to the shadows of the trees where she is rarely seen.
She is obsessed with stalking her prey, and sometimes will do so for hours on end before she gets her meal. She works for what she gets, and abhors those that are given authority when it is not deserved. Amatya believes that everyone should work for what they get, and as such does not scavenge on the kills of other predators. She hadn’t had the most contact with other large cats and as such can be short on her sentences, coming off as uncouth or tactless, but she can actually articulate her thoughts rather clearly, she only does so if she believes you’re worth the time. Amatya gets incredibly nervous around cats that are larger than her and perhaps a little too cocky with ones which are smaller.
Despite the fact that she had never really had a friend, if she had she would protect them with her life. She is incredibly loyal and only believes in mating for life. She would love to have a family, but it isn’t on the top of her priority list. Friends are always a plus though.
FIRST IMPRESSION, That she is a little skewed in the head
HISTORY,
Amatya was born here in these lands, with her Mother but no father. She grew as most leopards grew and when she was old enough to go on her own she did, leaving her Mother behind. Her name quite literally translates to infinite moon, and she never learned why her Mother named her so, either case she likes her name and normally will purr it along with an introduction. Amatya didn’t travel far from her Mother and was around for her death earlier in the year. It was a simple event, in which Amatya was able to say her good-byes. That was the first and last time she let her eyes cry. Since then she’s roamed further out, away from her birth lands and attempting to find a solid place a loner could call home.
