APPEARANCE,
Tall and angular, even for a cheetah, Luftanza stands perched atop four long, spotted limbs. Though one might be tempted to call her gangly, for despite her adult age she appears not to have grown into her body yet, there's something oddly, eccentrically graceful about it all, about the angles and hard ridges, about the ribs you could ostensibly count, about the skinny legs and spidery tail. She walks with poise and grace, and the effect is tied together by a pretty face and golden-brown eyes.
Luftanza sports the usual markings of a cheetah: a sprinkle of dark chocolate spots on a fawn colored background, spots of varying sizes; eyes rimmed thickly with charcoal that drips down towards the nose like black tear stains.
PERSONALITY,
It is firmly rooted in Luftanza's belief that everyone is firmly pitted against her in the battle that is life. What she cannot comprehend - what she doesn't even consider - is that, in all truth, people... don't care. She acts as if eyes were constantly appraisingly on her, walks with a defying frown curling at her maw. The belief leads her into a constant defensiveness, an aggressivity and determination that she likes to think of as a self-defense mechanism.
Except that, well, there's no opponent.
Much of Luftanza's personality is unknown to her, and thus she is unaware of the fact she's fond of her dose of attention. What she likes to think of as devout piousness is actually a means of being coy and sneaky and interesting. Luftanza has a decent amount of vanity and pride, and we all know how THAT mixture turns out.
Indeed, Luftanza is an adept at deceiving herself. Though she acts brashly, she's in fact capable, once again somewhat unwittingly, of being particularly deceptive.
Strong willed, perfectionist, coy and sometimes petty, Luftanza's everything, but certainly not a bore. She's often ashamed of her passions for things, and often finds refuge in grumpiness so no one can see she genuinely enjoys life. She's quite unaware of the fact that she's just putting up a show.
She entertains a certain fascination for all flying things: birds, butterflies, anything that has the capacity of taking off from "sodden earth". Though she entertains the fancy that, if she could, she'd take off herself and free herself from the world's vicelike grip, the truth is she's very much a terrestrial being, and, let's face it: she'd get bored in the heavens.
FIRST IMPRESSION, a defensive, aggressive, spunky girl with a loud opinion and her motives seemingly always justified by god's will.
HISTORY,
Luftanza grew up loved and cared for, yet constantly feeling overshadowed by her brother Samael. He constantly got more love. Yes, definitely. Also, did she mention that she was older than he was?
RELATIONSHIPS,
- SAMAEL, her little brother. That means she definitely knows what's best for him.
